My First Day of School

I am seven years old. My school is Edgefield Primary School and it is very big. I love school because the school is very nice to me.

My teacher's name is Mrs Sim. She is a great teacher. But I think Mommy is greater than her because Mommy teaches me almost everyday. She doesn't work but stays at home to take care and teach Natalie and I. And she cooks very well too. Besides teaching Natalie and I, Mommy also teaches other children. She is a home tutor.

My favourite work is Science. But Singapore schools do not teach Science in Primary 1 and 2. So Mommy actually went to Malaysia specially to buy Science assessment books for Natalie and I. This is how much my Mommy loves us.

My Mommy is a good Christian. She teaches me how to be a good Christian. She also studies the Bible with visitors who come to church so that they may come to believe in God and one day go to heaven. Mommy also does devotion with me so that I may learn to obey God's words. I will worship God forever and view the Holy City when I get to heaven.

Playing with Val-Val

Today I played with Valerie, the baby girl at Auntie's house. She was playing with my bag when I was doing my homework. I heard a sound coming from the direction of my bag, so I turned and looked. And I saw Valerie playing with my bag!

I quietly went to Valerie and touched her head. She looked up and saw my leg. She looked further up and saw me looking at her, half-smiling, pretending to be angry with her. She started talking to me in her baby language. I didn't know what she was saying at all, because I have forgotten all my baby language! Then I quickly ran back to my seat to do my work because I was afraid that Auntie would come and see me out of my seat and scold me. Valerie went away from my bag to play with her favourite chair and all the things that Auntie always say she must not touch! What a naughty baby girl!

I am so sad...

Sorry God, because I have done bad things today. I scolded my friend Mohammad and hit him because he pulled my shirt. I feel very sad because by doing bad things, I am putting Jesus back onto the cross to suffer again. I also feel very sad because Mommy knew I did bad things and scolded me and caned me and made me stand at the corner for five minutes. So God, will You forgive me? Help me not to do bad things again. Help me to remember the Holy Spirit, that I must ask the Holy Spirit see whether I can do this thing everytime before I do it.

Happy Children's Day on Oct 2, 2007

Yesterday I went Wild Wild Wet with my family. Ular-lah was very fun. Ular-lah went up and down, left and right. I took Ular-lah four times. The first time I was hiding on Papa's shoulders because I thought it was scary. The second time I sat with Mommy and other strangers. I was no longer scared and was smiling. (Nah, he was all tensed and green in the face...) The third time I took the Ular-lah with Papa and Mommy and Natalie. Natalie was shouting. She thought it was very fun. And it was indeed very very very fun! The last time I took Ular-lah just before we went home. I was not looking at the camera when coming down the Ular-lah, so the camera did not take my face. But I was still so happy that I ate a whole burger for dinner and I had half a personal pan pizza for lunch.

I also like to play the slides at the Yakult Professor Pool. I also liked the Shiok River and the bluff beach (Tsunami) and the bluff swimming pool (Jacuzzi). The Shiok River was so fun especially when the waves came, pushing me left and right, back and front. It was so fun and cool and I loved the day. I was so happy that I ran everywhere, palying all the slides. I also like the Yakult falling on me too.

I loved the waves at the Tsunami too. I was like sitting in a boat (the tube), it was so great and it was very fun.I had to tiptoe to the water fountain at the Jacuzzi. When I got in, I could feel the stairs with my feet.

Today I went back to school, it was very fun. Teacher Irene asked why my face and whole body look so dark. I so happy because of yesterday the Wild Wild Wet, I cannot remember what I told Teacher Irene!
